Who we are

This policy describes what personal data we collect, how we use it, and how you can delete it. It applies to all site visitors and service customers.

Data we collect

When you book a transfer: name, email, phone, Telegram handle (optional), trip details (route, date, vehicle, passenger count, child seats), pickup notes. When you submit a review after your trip: name, review text, rating.

Automatically via analytics (GA4 + Yandex Metrika + Webvisor): IP address (anonymised), device type, browser, entry page, on-site behaviour (clicks, scroll, time on page). Never linked to your personal data.

How we use it

Contact details are used to confirm the booking, clarify trip details, and reach you on the day. We do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing. The only exception is passing your name to the driver so they can meet you at arrivals.

Analytics are used to understand which pages help customers and where to improve the service. Webvisor recordings are anonymous UX audits only.

How long we keep it

Customer contact details and booking history: 12 months after the trip ends, then anonymised. Analytics data: 26 months (GA4 default).

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 and Yandex Metrika. Details in the Google privacy policy and Yandex Metrika policy.

Yandex Metrika Webvisor records sessions anonymously with input fields auto-masked.

Your rights

Under South African POPIA and EU GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, delete everything, receive a machine-readable copy, and complain to the supervisory authority (South African Information Regulator or EU GDPR authority).

To delete or export your data, email [email protected] with subject "Data deletion". We respond within 30 days.

Cookies

Functional cookies (language, booking cart) and analytics cookies (GA4, Yandex Metrika). We do not use advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will still work with reduced functionality.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. The database is password-protected and only accessible from the Commander Shuttle office. We do not store card details — payments are bank transfer or cash on the day.
